Over the past several weeks the Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office has investigated several burglaries and in most cases these burglaries happened to residences where the occupants were either out of town for the holidays or for the winter season.
On January 13, 2024 the Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office issued 2 arrest warrants for Johnathan Edward Lee, age 36 of Salida, for Burglary of a Dwelling, a class 3 Felony.
On January 14, 2024 the Lakewood Police Department arrested Johnathan Lee for the 2 outstanding Chaffee County arrest warrants. Lee is being held in the Jefferson County Detention Facility on a $20,000 cash only bond.
The Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation into the remaining burglary cases.
