Charlotte Kaercher was promoted to Records Manager in September 2020 after working in the Records Department at the Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office for 20 years. Kaercher grew up in Buena Vista, and graduated from Buena Vista High School. She then spent several years living in several states before returning to Chaffee County in 1994. Prior to working at the Sheriff’s Office she was office manager of a furniture store, a convenience store and for many years worked in the service industry. In 2000, Kaercher began her career with the Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office and has served under four different Sheriffs and worked with many dedicated employees. She has attended numerous trainings including Records Release, Report Processing, Civil Process, Sheriff Sales, NIBRS and CCRN Training courses and is now a Master Certified Records Technician.
