Ms. Vallejos, a Colorado native, was raised in northeastern Colorado where she began a career in public accounting. In 2007 she gladly accepted an administrative position with the Chaffee County Fire Protection District and relocated to the Upper Arkansas Valley. It was there that she developed a passion for emergency services.
In 2013 she began volunteering as a law enforcement victim advocate for the Chaffee County Sheriff’s office and in 2015 she accepted a paid position as a communication officer. In March of 2016 she took on the role as the Law Enforcement Victim Assistance Coordinator for Chaffee County. She and a team of volunteers are dedicated to providing assistance to law enforcement and the unfortunate victims of crime as they enter the criminal justice system.
