Civilian fingerprints need to be scheduled through our Records Department at 719-539-2814.  Appointments are made only on Saturdays:  9am to noon; 3pm to 6pm; and 7pm to 9pm.

Please keep the following in mind before scheduling:
  • Cell phones are not permitted in the facility.  Please secure all unnecessary items unrelated to your fingerprints in your vehicle.  Once inside the facility, you are subject to search at any time.
  • Do not bring children (anyone under 18).  They will not be permitted into the facility.
  • Current photo ID required.
  • You will be required to fill out documents prior to being printed.  Arriving before your appointment time will expedite things.
  • Bring all documents related to your need for being printed.  If we have no written instructions from your employer, we will fill in the cards with the information you provide us.  Your employer may need you to return and get reprinted if you have incomplete or incorrect information.
  • Please bring the $10.00 fee in a local Colorado check or exact cash.  We do not have the ability to provide change.
  • We only print on BLANK cards specific to our system which are supplied during your appointment.  They are issued by CBI – Applicant Fingerprint Cards FD-258 (5-11-99).  If your employer is requiring you to be printed with their issued cards that have information already on them, you will need to find another jurisdiction capable of processing your civilian prints.
  • Our schedules are normally completely booked and your punctuality is appreciated to help keep on schedule.  If you are late for your appointment, you will likely have to reschedule.   Please keep in mind that facility operations are our first priority.  The Deputy assigned to fingerprinting may be redirected depending on the needs our facility and this may impact your appointment.  On rare occasions, fingerprints may have to be completely canceled.  Your patience and understanding are appreciated.
