Ms. Jackson graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Towson University. She began her career in Juvenile Justice as a detention case manager and supervisor. Since then, Ms. Jackson has served in many capacities: probation officer, volunteer coordinator, program facilitator, victim advocate, truancy liaison, drug court officer and program coordinator.
After moving to the Salida area in 2012, Ms. Jackson joined the Chaffee County Sheriff team in the detentions division. In June of 2016, she was promoted to Commander. With over twenty years in the field, she still enjoys her chosen career and the community she serves.
