The Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office is taking applications for the following openings:

 Communications Specialist/Dispatcher – Annual salary starts at $55,556 plus holiday pay (apprx $3,700)
Communications Specialist (9-1-1 Dispatcher).  Applicants must be 21 years of age with a good driving record and no felony criminal history.  They must have good hearing in both ears, be able to multi-task, ability to type, and have a high school diploma (or equivalent).  Applications have closed for this round of testing  Chaffee County is an EOE

Job Description for Communication Specialist

Detention Deputy – Annual salary starts at $57,661 plus holiday pay (apprx $3,880)

Detentions Deputies are required to be at least 18 years of age.  Duties include supervision and care of inmates as well as case management.  No experience necessary.
