Due to moderating conditions over the past week, including cooler temperatures and widespread moisture, I am lifting Stage 1 Fire Restrictions for unincorporated Chaffee County effective 0600, Thursday, October 7, 2021.

The USFS lifted their restrictions effective immediately on October 6.
