On April 20, 2020 the three suspects involved in the armed car jacking on April 18, 2020 at Highway 285 and County Road 270 were transferred to the Chaffee County Detention Facility from the Saguache County Detention Facility and formal charges were filed.

The following are the formal charges filed on each suspect:

*Possession of a Synthetic Narcotic

*Failure to Notify Police of an Accident

Danny James DeHerrera

*First Degree Assault

*Second Degree Assault

*Reckless Endangerment

*Motor Vehicle Theft
