On July 19, 2018 the USFS lifted all fire restrictions on forest service lands.

After reviewing current fuel moisture criteria in our area provided by the USFS, and after conferring with Phil Graham, Chaffee County Emergency Manager and our local fire chiefs in regards to current fire conditions I am lifting all current fire restrictions in unincorporated Chaffee County. This includes state, county and private lands.   

Please consult your local municipality for information on their current fire restrictions.
